Hi! We are Scott & Trish Snyder of Mantua, Ohio. Christmas 2009 we built our first rocker. It was a gift for a child. We found so much joy in making it, and saw the joy it gave the child, that we never stopped. We began making outrageous and unique rockers with the intent to donate one to a charitable cause for every ten we sold.

On May 26, 2011 we found our purpose. The news story of a local soldier killed in action in Afghanistan, just a week after learning he was to become a father, CW2 Christoper Thibodeau. These tragic stories are so hard, but this one tugged at our heart….and never let go. Within months Hero’s Rock was formed.

We found our talents by accident, and now they have a purpose! Hero’s Rock is a 501(c)3 non profit program. Through public donations, we build custom tribute rockers for the children of our countries fallen heroes. Working with the family we try to incorporate things that are important to the hero. Each is special including an etched portrait. Our hope is to give a child some joy now, but leave a legacy of what their hero stood for, and show that people across our nation appreciated their loved ones service and sacrifice.

Join us as we honor all who serve, by celebrating the lives of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, with special gifts to those who suffer the greatest loss, the children.
